Backgammon Tournament this Wednesday in Ballard 5/16

Time for another tournament this week at Picolino's.

Entry $5, signup at 6pm.  Play starts around 6:30.  Come early and get a bite to eat to fortify yourself for a full evening of backgammon -- our non-elimination Swiss format means everyone plays the entire time!

5/5 Tournament Results

Great turn out yesterday, 13 players!  Congratulations to Joel and Sharon, who made it to the top of our Swiss format ladder to take home top honors. Also, a special welcome to our out-of-state visitors from Oregon and North Carolina, drop in anytime!

The results juggle up our standings of course, our top 10 list is now a much closer race than before.  I'll announce more detailed standings at the end of May, but for a quick view, here's our top ten list in descending order: Craig, Kent, Sharon, Joel, Woody, David, Molly, Sonja, Kristina, Pete.

Ballard Tournament Weds 4/18

Time again for our monthly $5 Ballard tournament at Picolino's this wednesday.  Sign in at 6pm, play starts at 6:30.  bring your board!

Ravenna tournament 4/7 4pm

New month, new tournaments!  This week, it's Ravenna, Saturday 4/7: 4pm sign in, play starts at 4:30 and goes till about 7 or 7:30 PM.
Come at 4pm to stock up on happy hour goodies, get signed in and find a comfortable table.  Bring your favorite board, a timepiece for that time limit, a pen to keep score and a fresh mind ready to ponder those difficult checker positions!
